Untold Stories
Do the days feel short, yet still a blur?
Do you feel like you put a lot of energy into work/ school/ relationships and still accomplish what feels like very little to nothing?
Is there something you know would be helpful to talk about, but you don't know where to start?
Do you want to feel happy and at peace, but you mostly feel stressed, sad, angry, alone, afraid, etc?
If this sounds familiar, let's talk.
You may feel that the story of your day-to-day life or your past is not worth talking about or too hard to explain because you can't even make sense of it yourself. However, none of that takes away from the fact that it's your life and whatever is going on (or has happened) is important to you.
So, how can therapy help?
Well, it's more than just "sitting on a couch" and "just talking." Therapy gives you (or someone you care about) space to tell untold stories - The whole and real version of events, not just the bits and pieces you share with others...or no one at all. This is done with someone that is trained and dedicated to listen and ask questions to help you feel more empowered and confident in handling your life.
Most people who start therapy wish they would have done so sooner. People don't tend to say, 'I wish I would have put therapy off longer.' So, ask yourself, 'What do I have to lose?' and 'What could I gain?'
